The CLS Connections Program provides a nurturing educational environment for kindergarten through sixth-grade students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), all within a Christ-centered community. Our mission is to foster meaningful relationships while providing tailored support in academic, behavioral, and social development.
At Connections, we believe in the power of inclusion. Students benefit from personalized one-on-one, small-group, and whole-group instruction in our dedicated Connections Classrooms. Additionally, they have the opportunity to integrate into general education settings, learning alongside their typical peers in subjects where they can thrive academically. The amount of time spent in these settings is customized based on each student's unique needs and goals.
In our program, inclusivity extends beyond academics. Our students fully participate in special classes such as music, art, social and emotional learning, and physical education, as well as lunch and recess alongside their peers.
Supported by Gentry Pediatric Behavioral Services, Connections goes beyond traditional education. We offer Applied Behavioral Analysis, Speech and Language therapy, and other essential interventions to ensure holistic support for every student.
Connections also offers an Adult Work Program that provides a structured and accepting work community for adults with ASD and other neurodiversities. With a Christ-centered approach, we empower members to thrive in the workplace by setting them with the tools for success. Task expectations are specifically tailored to the individual and their strengths, preferences, and capabilities. We provide support while promoting independence and success.
At Connections, we're not just educating minds; we're nurturing a love of Christ and fostering independence every step of the way. We have built a community where every individual can shine.
