Christian Values. Quality Education.

Serving the local community since 1955, Christ Lutheran School is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission as a ministry of Christ Church-Lutheran. Christ Lutheran School is committed to providing Christ-centered quality education as the best preparation for life and
service in a rapidly changing world by offering a Bible-based program beginning with 3-year-old preschool through Grade 8.

Christ Lutheran School was recognized by the NLSA Commission as a School of Distinction for Five Powerful Practices. Powerful Practices consist of exceptional practices the institution has
initiated or is engaged in that are making a positive difference in the system and its schools. In short, a Powerful Practice is “something” the institution is doing very well and at a high level.

others, and one another; providing a Christ-centered, family culture that offers a safe and caring environment.

Service Learning-Christian Service & Advisory-Lifelong Learning

The Service Learning Program and Advisory Groups foster a Christian culture whereby faculty and students are intentional about sharing their faith, building Christian community among students, and developing
servant leaders now and for the future.

It is our goal to:

  • Create a safe and loving learning environment
  • Lead each child to know the joy of God’s love
  • Provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of each child.
  • Partner with the parents in their child’s education, while providing them with spiritual, emotional, and educational support system.
  • Develop the whole child, beyond academics by emphasizing physical health, fine arts, and technology.
  • Develop the educational foundations of organization, study skills, and test preparation needed to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.
  • Encourage the child to take an active role in God’s kingdom by developing a sense of responsibility through service in their community and church.
  • Train students through daily Bible-based instruction and encourage active church involvement.
  • Build and encourage an academic foundation for continuing education in high school and college.
