Mr. Doyle, Principal
Did you know that if you’re breathing, you should be praising the Lord?
If you’re reading this, then you’ve already confirmed—you’re breathing! And that means it’s time to give thanks to the Lord for something, anything! Take a moment to reflect on your life: your family and friends, your workplace or school, memorable experiences, travels near or far—surely, there’s something you can lift up in praise to God. Every blessing that comes to mind is from Him. No question about it!
Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” This verse will guide us as the theme for the 2025–2026 school year. Alongside it, we’ve chosen the song “Praise” by Elevation Worship to remind us throughout the year of God’s constant goodness and our calling to respond with gratitude.
This year I am challenging every student, parent, faculty, and staff member to think of one thing each week that God has provided—or a way He has blessed you—and give Him praise.
I’ve personally started keeping a praise journal. Each evening, I take a moment to reflect—not on the day's conflicts or missed opportunities—but on the goodness of God and the blessings He’s poured into my life. For example, as I write this, I’m deeply thankful that all four of our children had the opportunity to attend CLS and receive a strong foundation in both faith and academics.
Thank you for trusting our faculty and staff to educate, mentor, coach, uplift, and guide your children. More than anything, thank you for allowing us to share the good news of Jesus with them every single day. It is our calling and joy to stand firm in our biblical beliefs and to make sure every student—from preschool through eighth grade—knows they are deeply loved.
Let’s make this a year of praise—because if we have breath, we have a reason!
In Christ, Jon Doyle-
Principal
